El Segundo, Calif. - November 13, 2008- Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that the Rock Revolution£ Bundle for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. An authentic music-based video game, the bundle version comes complete with a copy of Rock Revolution and Konami's new innovative drum set. Brought to market by the company that created the music videogame genre with breakthrough titles such as DanceDanceRevolution®, Karaoke Revolution®, Beatmania and Guitar Freaks, Rock Revolution provides an unmatched rock experience.
Designed by musicians, Rock Revolution's sturdy drum kit offers gamers the most realistic and comfortable drumming experience. Featuring six drum pads, and a kick pedal, Rock Revolution's drum kit has a great feel, a short learning curve, and is user friendly - providing gamers with the ultimate drumming experience. Rock Revolution ships with over 40 rock songs that span a broad range of bands and eras, along with a wide variety of downloadable songs. When players take the stage, they can choose from up to 13 realistic characters, where they will perform in stunning unique and authentic venues. Additionally, up to six players can rock together online, or up to three players offline can jam in modes such as versus, co-op and band battle. Rockers can also tackle the game solo in the Career mode, where they are tasked with taking their band to the top of the charts by performing songs, learning techniques, creating set lists, and completing challenges.
Rock Revolution Bundle is rated "T" for "Teen" is now available for Xbox 360 and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system for a SRP of $129.99. Rock Revolution is compatible with most drum and guitar peripherals.
