DDR X Artist Information!

With the launch of DanceDanceRevolution® X! on the horizon, the DanceDanceRevolution® Community Website is proud to present New Artist Information!  Below we have listed a handful of the top notch artists that have music featured in DDR X. We have also included some special information on each of these artists that should get you pumped for the game. We also have a Special Message from the DDR X MC's!

1.) DKC Crew - DKC Crew is a group of composers, producers and artists from around the world. Talent is scouted and picked through Adeline Studios in Oakland, CA. Some of the resident artists are:

Singjay/Songwriter: Binghi Ghost
Producer, Composer and Artist: Asa Taccone M.C. Taj He Spits
Singer/Songwriter: Nadine
Rap Group: The Yay Boyz
Producer, Composer and Artist: Drew Kimo Campbell (DKC)

2.) Akira Ishihara - Coming up through the Japan underground scene, at the age of 18 Akira Ishihara started DJ'ing and producing his own Techno tracks. It wasn`t long before his skills were noticed, and soon after was releasing 12 inches on Techno labels such as "kiddaz.fm", "kazumi", and "SUBmissions".

From 2003-2004, he went on tour in Germany, and performed at venues such as "Electric Ballroom" at SO36 and at the legendary Tresor club. He has since played in countries around the world, including Austria, Hong-Kong, Taiwan and China.

Having released many club-style tracks, he has become known for his heavy use of voice sampling along with a pumpin` beat. His songs have been championed by DJ`s in clubs around the world. Now appearing in DDR X, his hard-pounding skills are sure to get your floor movin'!

3.) Harmony Machine - The minds of mystery and mastery that make up Harmony Machine were born into bleeps, raised on rhythm, and live by Life Law #8: "Thou shalt suck up sounds and play around." Physical headquarters are in San Francisco, the virtual path is h-machine.com.

4.) Jena Rose - Jena Rose is in a league of her own. Born and raised in Sri Lanka by wild elephants, she has a deep and inseparable connection to the sounds and rhythm of nature.

At the ripe age of 12, she was found by a family of touring musicians who brought her back to Paris where she then studied at the conservatory and learned classical violin and cello.

Not content with the confined sounds of the Western world, she dove into world and electronic music where she found her passion. Gaining a degree in sound design and electronic composition, Jena's combo of strings and electronics are one of a kind.

5.) System 7 - Forming in 1989, System 7 began as a collective, also featuring The Orb's Alex Paterson and Youth. Providing the conscious link between the techno and house explosion of the 80's and it's European psychedelic antecedents of the 70's, they have had a strong influence on the birth of psychedelic dance music and it's journey up to the present.

Consistently progressive, System 7's central producers - guitarist Steve Hillage and keyboardist Miquette Giraudy - have now forged a unique and bang up-to-date identity on the dance music genre map, in a space where techno, progressive house and psy-trance meet - with a healthy side-element of unique quality ambient chill - also collaborating with many other dance music luminaries, notably Derrick May, Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier and Richie Hawtin.

Their most recent 12" single "Space Bird" features major remixes from Dubfire and Liquid Soul, and reached the coveted number 1 chart position on dance music's leading download site Beatport in January 2008. Also released in 2008, System 7's successful new album "Phoenix" and video project is inspired by the manga graphic novel series "Phoenix" by Osamu Tezuka - one of the founding fathers of Japanese manga culture.

6.) TAG - Sound creator, step designer, avid DDR player, TAG's talents are many. He specializes in keyed instruments, such as piano and synthesizer. His first encounter with DDR was many year's ago. He was so obsessed with DDR that it inspired him to become a sound creator.

Having many releases on other BEMANI music games, "Saber Wing" is his debut song for the DanceDanceRevolution series. We can't take our eyes (or ears) off this rising BEMANI star!

7.) Bill Hamel - For some divine reason, the stars aligned when Bill Hamel first stumbled upon the mind-blowing sounds of "progressive house" at Orlando's fabled Firestone club in the early 90s. It was America's epicenter of the most widespread youthquake to hit the globe since punk rock - the electronic dance music explosion. Orlando's progressive scene shook up e-music's global wavelength; it's records and DJs reaching clubs from New York to London and beyond. Hamel rapidly became a go-to tunesmith, with the likes of Danny Tenaglia and Dave Seaman choosing his remixes for their top-selling Global Underground mix-CDs. Now, having remixed everyone from Madonna to Paramore to Rihanna to Korn, he has had numerous #1 songs on the Billboard dance charts, including Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River", Seal's "Amazing", and Nellie Furtado's "Do It".

Not confined to remixing, Bill Hamel's original tracks have been released on heavy-hitting global labels like Bedrock, Ministry of Sound and Perfecto. Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, and Sander Kleinenberg are just a few of the DJs who have featured his tracks on their mix CDs. He is currently producing three songs for BT's forthcoming album, and his Orlando-based band, Spacebar, has just released their debut full-length, Our Fight, on iTunes.

From the underground to center stage, Bill Hamel is a dance music standout whose club know-how, studio experience, and tireless work ethic have forged permanent footholds in an extremely competitive arena.

"Bill Hamel has the extraordinary rare gift of balancing the deep and subtle with the melodic. A shining star in a sea of faceless DJs and producers."

                                                                                                                                    - Brian "BT" Transeau

8.) wolli - wolli is a keyboard virtuoso residing in Tokyo, Japan. Beginning his musical journey at the age of 5, his specialties include electronic synthesizer, piano, and the pipe organ. Having a background in classical music and in opera, he performs both as keyboardist and singer. He has performed his original works at such events as the Aichi World Exposition and Okayama International Music Festival. He has often been hand chosen to accompany many international acts as they tour Japan, from string quartets to German choir groups, and his music and arrangements have been showcased throughout Japan and Europe.

With his debut song in Dance Dance Revolution, "Lift You Up", wolli brings his talent to the American audience.

9.) OR-IF-IS - Atmosphere, stratosphere, here, there, and everywhere fuel fanciful flights of mutation and transportation. It began when OR-IF-IS escaped evil captors - a tribe from Mashmello, an invisible moon of Mars - who forced OR-IF-IS to create alien pop schlop in exchange for rotten milk, dry bread, and an unlit air chamber.

10.) Ruffage & Size - Ruffage & Size hail from the frozen north of Canada. Rather than hide away indoors during the long, cold winter they both enjoy the outdoors - Ruffage blazing around the many frozen ponds and lakes on hockey skates, and Size catching big air on the ski slopes. The duo try to capture this sense of adventure in their music, creating excitement and energy to induce a real musical rush.

Having known each other for over 12 years, over half of which they have been producing music, Ruffage & Size have developed a mutual sarcasm towards life which also shines through in their creations. Thanks to teaming up with DJ Silver from Reload they now have a consistent outlet for having their music heard by the world.

11.) Darwin - UK based Darwin was first thrust upon the dance music community via the Gammer remix of "Take A Ride", done with Ant Johnson, and hasn't stopped gaining momentum since. With the massive "Pulse Attack", done in collaboration with Cube::Hard, played by DJ's all across the hardcore spectrum and featured on "Hardcore Heaven 2" the public were first treated to a clear sign that a notable talent was emerging. The underground anthem "Magical  Rainbow" showed a fondness for "happy" hardcore, whilst always being counterbalanced with epic and darker material such as "Save Our Souls".

Having already mixed a commercially released album with "WOW What a Rush 10" Darwin also turned in a mix on the critically acclaimed "Hardcore Underground" with "WOW 11" released at the same time.

A "core" RFU Recordingz and Notorious Vinyl artist, with forthcoming releases on Kaotik (sharkeys label), Nu Energy (kevin energy), Thin 'n' Crispy (Robbie long), and many others, Darwin is pushing through into the wider dance mainstream conciousness without in any way compromising his underground sensibilities and range. Now a DDR artist, you will start to hear Darwin in a whole new light.

12.) DDT - DDT, from the UK, has been producing for 17 years. Being a long term retro computer game fan has led him to writing computer game music for the like's of Konami and more. His numerous drum & bass and breakbeat release's in the UK show his underground edge as well.

13.) Tommie Sunshine - Influenced by equal parts of New Wave, Rock&Roll, and House music, American rave legend and Brooklyn, NY resident Tommie Sunshine is raising the bar. Covering ground as artist, remixer, producer, taste-maker, DJ, and songwriter and traveling the globe with his legendary DJ sets it won't be long before there will be, at least a little, Tommie Sunshine in your life.

As an established remixer, Tommie has been requested to retouch work from a diverse list that includes the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Good Charlotte, Scissor Sisters, The Gossip, Fallout Boy, The Killers, Yoko Ono, Junkie XL, Panic! At The Disco, Shiny Toy Guns and Avril Lavigne. In 2006, Tommie released 'Systematic Sessions Vol. 2 - Tommie Sunshine & Marc Romboy' in Germany, followed in 2007 by the Australian gold selling 'One Love Vol. 5: Your Disco Will Eat You' and the American release of 'Tommie Sunshine presents Ultra Rock Remixed' his double CD chock full of his remix and original production work, past and present.

14.) Justin - One half of our MC team, Justin's style and flow help create DDR X's unique atmosphere! Here's what his fellow band-mates have to say about him:

Aquarius - Was found by other future Ozo members playing djembe in Disneyland's Lion King Parade. We realized his many handed styles were just too mucho good for Mickey Mouse. Has the uncanny ability to excel in whatever he does (except skateboarding!)

Did you know:
   1. Justin's father was the musical director for
the Sonny and Cher television show.
   2. His aunt Anita co-wrote the hit R&B songs,
"You Got Me Going in Circles" and "Keep on
      Truckin'"
   3. He injured his Achilles tendon trying to ollie
off the stage at Pomona's Glasshouse Club.

First Performance:
6th Grade flute interpretation of "Mary Had a
Little Lamb". Lucky for us he got bored and decided
to beat skins and hit things with sticks.

Career Highlight:
Summer camp in 1984 at Pan-Pacific Park.
Expertly assumed the role of the Kangol Kid in
a re-creation of the body rock classic, "The Real
Roxanne".

15.) Wil-Dog - One half of our MC team, Wil-Dog brings his humor and groove to the DDR dance floor. We think he's the tops, but don't take our word for it. Here's what his fellow band-mates have to say about him:

Pisces - Wanted to be in Ozomatli since the day he was born. Had to play in a number of sub par and just straight corny groups before he realized it.

Did You Know:
   1. He played with Macy Gray right up until the
time she became famous. Coincidence? We
      think not!

   2. He attended Hamilton High School's prestigious
music academy with current and past Ozo
members Asdru Sierra, founding drummer Anton
Morales, and one time John Coltrane prodigy
      and uniquely energetic saxophonist Jose
      "crunchy" Espinoza.

First Performance:
Occurred at USC's world famous Bovard Theatre
at the ripe age of 10. He performed master
interpretations of numerous ethnic dances from
Africa, the Ukraine, Mexico's traditional hat dance
and los machetes. His specialty: the Hungarian
Boot Dance.

Career Highlight:
Break dancing at LA's Hip Hop mecca Radiotron
to Ice-T's live interpretation of Reckless. Ice was
wearing the requisite MC apparel of the pre-gangster
rap era. Creepers, fitted MC Hammer style balloon
pants with a mustard tint, rayon buttoned shirt, all
the while rockin' a flat top with mullet greased
down with TCB for a little extra flare.

<u>A Special Message from the DDR X MC's</u>

Being the voice of the brand new DanceDance Revolution game has been a dream come true for us.

We remember the very first time we traveled to Tokyo 8 years ago. We set foot in Shibuya and saw tons of kids in the arcade, dancing their hearts out on the DDR video game. We were totally floored and the one thing more memorable than the actual dancing and dedication of the kids was the voice- over in the game. You could hear the game down the street because there were about 10 kids playing at the same time. We thought it was the coolest invention in the world! Where else could you get your cardio workout in, get toned, have fun, listen to some sweet tunes, and have somebody encourage you to dance harder? Every home should come standard with a DanceDanceRevolution video game. Move over Richard Simmons!

Being voice announcers for the game is a lot harder than it looks. We thought we could walk in, do a couple takes and jam right out of there. Wronggg!!! It's like acting without a camera. You have to make each line have it's own unique character and make sure you don't blow out your voice. There are hundreds of lines to say over and over and you must stay well hydrated, focused and energetic. It was a lot of work but it was so much fun and hopefully we will be able to announce for another game someday. Hmmmmmm???

Now that we got the hang of it, maybe we can be like the guy that does the movie trailer voice- overs? He's our idol!

                                                                                                                 - Wil-Dog and Justin from Ozomatli

1.)  All Good Things (Come To An End) - When we decided to re-create Nellie Furtado's epic song, we wanted to keep it's emotional quality intact, while giving it a dance floor pulse. Really, the choice of cover artists was a no-brainer! Having already delivered a chart topping remix of Furtado's "Do It" for the artist herself, we knew that internationally acclaimed Bill Hamel could give us the song we were looking for. As always, Bill delivers and then some. This song captures you with it's vocal performance, and keeps you going with it's cascading rhythms. Lose yourself in this song!

2.) Come Rain Come Shine - Jenn Cuneta delivers a chart topping House music masterpiece, and we bring it to the DDR dance floor! You can tell that Tommie, along with long-time collaborator Mark Verbos, really had fun re-creating this song!

16.) Bust A Move - When you think of 80's Hip-Hop, "Bust A Move" instantly comes to mind. Everything came into place once I had the idea to get Asa to do the drums and Taj He Spits to voice the lyrics. Originally composed as an entirely different song, I had to re-write the lyrics to match the build about half way through composition. Once I got a structure and vocals I felt good about I added tons of harmonies to the voice and had fun arranging the music." - DKC Crew

DDR X Song List

The DanceDanceRevolution® Community Website is proud to present the official song list for DanceDanceRevolution® X!  Below we have listed both the song title and a short description of each song for your viewing pleasure (some including exclusive quotes).  We have also broken the song list down between licensed songs and Konami Originals.  This is not the full song list, however, we will be releasing more information on the full song list for DanceDanceRevolution® X in the coming days, so keep checking back for more updates!

<u>Licensed Songs</u>

1.) Wine Red (Tommie Sunshine's Brooklyn Fire Retouch) - "Tommie Sunshine transforms this indy-pop masterpiece from The Hush Sound into a dance floor anthem. The stompy beat, driving rhythm, and subtle, gritty textures combine to create a unique blend that is rarely heard in electronic music."

2.) Here We Go - "Without a doubt one of the most influential, genre defying groups out today, Ozomatli channels the Reggaeton vibe with" "Here We Go". "It's stripped down, hard-hitting beat and catchy melody will definitely get your hips shakin'!" Ozomatli's live performance has been hailed around the world as a ""do not miss"" event. As a special, exclusive treat, the DDR X video for this song is a collection of footage from their 2007 concert at Los Angeles's legendary House Of Blues!"

3.) Boy (DJ Irene Rockstar Mix) - "DJ Irene Rockstar transforms this 1985 club hit into a modern day dance floor monster. Originally a new-wave tale of frustration, this remix keeps the song's intent intact while kicking up the intensity with driving leads and a heavy club beat. This remix originally appeared on Rhino music's ""Future Retro"" compilation, which showcases a plethora of 80's anthems remixed by today's hottest dance-music producers."

4.) Put 'Em Up - "Put 'Em Up" is a feel-good tune that embodies the spirit of House music - a love of rhythm intertwined with the freedom to be happy. Let your stress fall away and loose yourself in this song's joyous vibe.

5.) Here It Goes Again - OK Go is a 4-piece indy-pop band from the Chicago area. Creating a sensation with their self-produced, choreographed video's, they prove that you don't need a massive budget to make high-powered art. You only need a wild imagination and a D.I.Y. attitude. "Here It Goes Again" is taken from their 2005 album Oh No.

6.) Happy - "Happy" was released on the 2005 album Odyssey by New York's Fischerspooner. Dipping it's fingers into Electro, Indy, Pop and Dance, "Happy" is an outstanding example of today's genre-less music soundscape.

7.) U Can't Touch This - The 1990 block buster, "U Can't Touch This" finally makes it's way to the DDR dancefloor. MC Hammer's catchy phrases, layered over grooves sampled from Rick James' seminal "Super Freak", became a Hip-Hop phenomenon breaking down the doors of mainstream music. It won two Grammy awards - Best R&B Song and Best Solo Rap Performance.

8.) Sound of Freedom - Bob Sinclair, with a self-described purpose of bringing unity and enjoyment to all, gives us "Sound Of Freedom" - a "Dancehall meets House Music" floor stomper that simply rocks. Featuring Cutie B., Gary Pine and Dollarman, this song has hit dance charts and, more importantly, dancefloors around the world.

9.) Big Girls Don't Cry - Purefocus re-creates Fergie's anthem, giving it a dose of dance to make it even more appealing on the dancefloor. Edgy guitars and gritty synths mix with silky smooth vocals and a flowing break-beat, giving this song an emotional roller coaster ride.

10.) Butterfly (2008 X-edit) - The mega-hit "Butterfly" was released on the original DanceDanceRevolution in Japan. Now, ushering in a new decade of DDR sounds, "Butterfly" has been reworked exclusively for DanceDanceRevolution X! Enjoy it's familiar, "impossible to resist", melody, while exploring the fresh new arrangement.

11.) DUB-I-DUB (2008 X-edit) - Making a sensation both on and off the DDR dance-floor, "Dub-I-Dub" has been reworked exclusively for DanceDanceRevolution X! "Dub-I-Dub" was first released in 1995, and was featured in the early DDR machines throughout Japan.

12.) 30 Lives (Up-Up-Down-Dance Mix) - Winner of the 2008 "Dance Dance Revolution Song Contest", "30 Lives (Up-Up-Down-Dance Mix)" has taken the legendary Konami code and turned it into an undeniably sweet ode to teenage love. A unique approach? We think so!

13.) Till the Lonely's Gone - "Till the lonely's gone" is one of the winners of the 2008 "Dance Dance Revolution Song Contest". Beautiful lyrics wrapped around a fantastic backing track create this wonderful Pop hit. It's an uplifting song of love and trust - just what you need to chase away the blues!

<u>Konami Originals</u>

14.) Ticket to Bombay - "A journey of a lifetime awaits you. Take the fast train to Bombay and watch the country side whiz past as the smell of chai and curry fill the train. As you arrive, the markets are filled with sights and delights beyond imagination. Music fills the air as silk fabrics and spices of every color align the city streets." - Jena Rose

15.) Flight of the Phoenix - "Soaring high in the sky, the Phoenix spreads it's wings in celebration of rebirth. From the ashes rises the mighty Phoenix that reminds us that there is always life in death and light in the darkness. Dance with the Phoenix and spread your wings...." - Jena Rose

16.) Tah He Spitz - "From the beginning I knew this song was going to go smoothly and it did. Everything came into place once I had the idea to get Asa to do the drums and Taj He Spits to voice the lyrics. The day after Taj dropped his vocals Binghi Ghost was coming into the studio and I played it for him and boom, within minutes he had a verse and the intro part. It's always fun when a track comes together like that!" - DKC Crew

17.) Slip Out - "Needing some leafy greens and good news, Harmony Machine dives into a pool of purple jello preserved with ectoplasmic sulfites, paddles to a safe haven of coconut trees and hippity-hop, and writes this song of celebration." - Harmony Machine

18.) Party Lights - "I feel like it is important that everyone knows that dancing is about freedom and we all need freedom from our everyday lives. This game is all about dancing so I figured my song had to also be about it as well."  - Tommie Sunshine

19.) Dance Celebration - "'Dance Celebration' is just that... with a little dirt thrown in for good measure! I think this song is the perfect blend of dirty house and electro all rolled in to one anthem! I worked on this song w/ Nosmo and Kris B, 2 Chicago area producers... (hence the dirty house elements)... then brought in Kevens, a reggae artist from Miami... the end result was one dance floor monster, don't ya think?" - Bill Hamel

20.) Inspiration - "The song 'Inspiration' came in stages for me. Originally composed as an entirely different song, I had to re-write the lyrics to match the build about half way through composition. The song changed completely but still kept the same base idea and the word 'Inspiration'. Once I got a structure and vocals I felt good about I added tons of harmonies to the voice and had fun arranging the music." - DKC Crew

21.) Flourish - An uplifting song of friendship and empowerment. These feelings are reflected in it's strong beat and beautiful synth sounds. Dance to this song and remember that you can go anywhere you want.

22.) Tracers (4Beat Remix) - A solid trance track from the Canadian duo Ruffage & Size. The progressive beat holds the energy throughout the track, while the vocals provide just the right spice. With these repeating rhythms, you can set your mind free and let your legs do the dancing.

"When putting together Tracers (4beat Remix), Size came up with the original music and melodies and created the main synth sound on his Novation Supernova synthesizer. Ruffage then took those ideas and shaped them into a Ibiza-inspired trance anthem. Dutch vocalist Chwhynny recorded a simple but perfectly matched vocal to finish off the track with style." - Ruffage & Size

23.) On the Break - Old-school Hard-Core, who doesn't love it?!?! This high energy track is nonstop from front to back and will take you on a wild ride before it let's you off. Can you keep up?

<u>DanceDanceRevolution®</u><u> Hottest Party 2 Partial Song List
</u>

Drawing heavily on music originally from Paul McCartney, it's infectious groove overflows with positivity. When you are in need of a musical pick-me-up, this is the tune to reach for. As an added bonus, enjoy it's original music video while you dance!

3.) Feel Together - Originally by Ben MacKlin Feat. Tiger Lily, it reached #5 on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart. Mickey Disco has given it a groovy filtered-house beat, along with new uplifting vocals, to make it a perfect match for the DDR dance floor.

4.) My Destiny - This song, by House music diva Kim English, reached #1 on the dance music charts. The DanceDanceRevolution version gives it a fresh, upbeat, and  stompy groove. This, along with a wicked bass-line, will have your dance floor rockin'!

5.) Umbrella - Rihanna's world-wide smash hit is recreated as a tech-house pumper. An up-tempo beat, hook-laden synth stabs, and smooth vocals all combine to take this masterpiece to the next level!

6.) Makes Me Wonder - When we heard the funk-laden groove of Maroon 5's global smash-hit, we knew we had to bring it to the DDR dance floor. We've given it a dose of electronica and picked up the beat to make it DDR ready.

7.) Everybody Dance - HOTTEST PARTY2 is all about having fun and feeling good. We really wanted to capture this feeling when we recreated Chic's seminal Disco song. Now, nobody can channel 70's funk into modern dance floor goodness like the legendary Tommie Sunshine, so we knew that we had to have him for this song. You can tell that Tommie, along with long-time collaborator Mark Verbos, really had fun re-creating this song!

8.)  Red Alert - Basement Jaxx are one of the most influential groups to ever hit the House music scene. Not satisfied with repeatedly putting out the same house beat, every song is given an unique identity and atmosphere. Also included in HOTTEST PARTY2 is the accompanying music video. This acclaimed video exposes the danger of a world that does not promote a free arena for musical expression.

9.) Tribulations - LCD Soundsystem is on the forefront of popular music, seamlessly intertwining musical genres. From Pop to Dance to Indy, this music cannot be contained by meaningless and overused labels. Uniquely original, "Tribulations" delivers a constant groove that is impossible to resist!

10.) Black Or White - Prince Royal brings us this uber danceable re-creation of Michael Jackson's block-buster hit! Funky grooves, energetic breaks, and smooth vocals combine for a nonstop ride.

11.) Can't Help Falling In Love With You - With versions released by countless artists over the years, from Elvis Presly to UB40, this song has often been seen at the top of the charts. Our version gives it a contemporary dance beat, while keeping a laid-back island groove (a la UB40).

12.) Tootsee Roll - "Tootsie Roll" took the world by storm in 1994 and is one of the era's most defining party anthems.. Every car rolling was pumping this track! We are all about keeping the party going while giving it a fesh gloss of club vibe. The Block Brothers team up with Hollywood J and Bill Hamel to give it an extra "edge"!

13.) Walking On Sunshine - This song, originally released by Katrina And The Waves in 1985, became a cultural phenomenon. It's influence on pop culture can be seen (and heard) everywhere - from TV programs such as Futurama, to movies such as High Fidelity and Look Who's Talking. This exciting DDR version turns the "sunshine" up to 11 to really get your floor movin!

14.) We Got The Beat - What happens when you take one of the 80's most recognizeable anthems and give it a shot of electronica? You get a dance sensation that will have you swingin' 'til the morning light! HOTTEST PARTY2 has got the beat!

15.) I Want Candy - Originally from The Strangeloves, Bow Wow Wow turned this song into a New-Wave classic in the 80's. We thought it would be irresistible for the DDR dance floor, so we sent it to Pop n' Fresh for an up-to-date make-over. This new version, with a funky electro edge, is absolutely pumpin'!

16.) Bust A Move - When you think of 80's Hip-Hop, "Bust A Move" instantly comes to mind. It's wicked bass-line, laid down by none other than Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers sets the groove, while Young MC's slickety-slick rap style effortlessly rolls across the beat. Enjoy it's original music video while you get down to the funky flavor!

17.) Don't You (Forget About Me) - We took this #1 hit from Simple Minds, gave it a strong dance beat and up'd the tempo to create a modern dance sensation. Strong synth stabs and a powerful kick are the foundation, while sweeping pads and rich vocals give this track an emotional edge.

18.) I Ran - Spacebar, Naughty G. And Bill Hamel team up to recreate one of the most memorable New Wave tracks to ever hit the world's dance floors. Now with a slammin' tech-house beat and edgy synths, this new version definitely surpasses all expectations!

19.) Obsession - "Brooklyn Fire takes this Synth-Pop ultra-classic and turns it into a Dance-Pop mega-hit! Keeping the original's smooth, sultry groove, this new creation cranks up the power to get your walls shakin'!"

20.) You're The One That I Want - Electro-50's Funk? Techno-Retro Pop? Who knows and who cares!?!?! This song has got some serious swing mixed in with sugary goodness. Sure to be a DDR favorite!

21.) Scramble - One of the most influential groups in the electronic scene, System 7 has pioneered the Techno/PsyTrance/Progressive soundscape. "Scramble" is taken from the newly released Phoenix album. A unique treat for HOTTEST PARTY2, "Scramble"'s underground, floor-pumpin', vibe balance out an already impressive songlist.

22.) 5 O'Clock - Originally by The Perceptionists, and released on the Definitive Jux label, this song is built around a D.I.Y attitude propelled by a laid-back Hip-Hop groove. With a unique flow and an uplifting vibe, this special DDR re-creation is guaranteed to brighten anyone's day. When you finally get home, worn out from a day of school or work, pump this jam and re-energize - the world is yours!
