Dear Konami,

Please sell all DDR games without dance mats. It would be nice to to be able to purchase the game seperately from the bundle version - which you did for DDR X and other DDR games, so why not for Hottest Party 2 and Universe 3?

What is the reason for not selling the game seperately?

If consumers want the bundle version, have that available as well, but many consumers already own dance mats and just want the game.

I guarantee more people would purchase the games if they were sold seperately from the mat. Please reconsider :)

I agree.  I just picked up SuperNova 2 for 14.00 instead of X or HP2 simply because it was a standalone copy.  Well, that and because it was heavily discounted.  If HP2 or X would have been around the 40.00 range without a pad, I would of bought either one instead.  For now, I hold off on X until it is standalone.

The only ones I've noticed that Konami only sold in bundles were the Universe series.  What about the Wii?  Do they sell those separately too?

...But yeah, Konami, do that.  I've heard so many people saying they won't buy the Universe games because they don't come without pads.  I can understand holding off on releasing the game-only version for a week or two to push sales of the bundles, but to not sell them separately at all is a pile of crap.

Hmmm.  The store did not have the standalone version of X, and said it could not be ordered.  I'll check elsewhere then; or order via Amazon.  Reasonably priced, too!

Konami, it seems as though you would have a few guaranteed sales of HP2 if only you'd release it on its own.  I know we, on these forums, represent a very tiny portion of the gaming community (understatement of the year) but I think we bring up good points, and you should definitely listen to us!  :)  Seriously though, sell HP2 without the pad!  Thank you in advance.

Yea, i agree that we should buy it standalone, we already have mats for it...

But think about it, Konami wants more dough, AND they also want to appeal to new consumers, so they release the game with the pad (DOUBLE COMBO!) lol, but that's kinda the reason why i think they sell it with the dance mat...

..still, it would be nice to sell just the game only =)
