Why are the Konami DDR Blog posts about such random things?

Keep in mind our Konami Blog posts serve to offer you inside information on the people who truly have a hand in putting together DDR titles.  It wouldn't be as interesting if the Konami Blogs focused in on the same type of topics each time they're posted, so every now and then you will see an interesting post that delves outside the world of DDR.  We want to keep things as fresh and fun as possible!

The blog is currently written by Hiro, a programmer at KOA (correct me if I'm wrong, Elliott).  He tends to write about things going on in his life, or things he is interested and relates it back to DDR in some shape or form.

Konami might be open to letting other people who have a hand in DDR write in the blog.  Would you be more interested if someone with a different role contributed to the blog?

Well, it's nice hearing from some one of the people who works on DDR, but he does tend to blog on...random things xD.

I personally like the DDR FROM STAFF blog that is set up on the Japanese Konami website. It's great to hear how the DDR X arcade game is progressing, and things of that nature. The blogs from Hiro are nice, but it would be cool to be able to read blogs on the development of the games too, as the DDR FROM STAFF blog does.

i second with pie on that...I mean it's really great to hear from someone who works with KOA, but sometimes the blogs are...somewhat out of the topic (a yacky dog? O.o), so it would really be better if we get what pie was talking about, a DDR FROM STAFF blog, telling us about the development and the info on how the game is.

Your community suggestions are very important and valuable to us, and as with everything else on the website, we will work hard to improve our Konami DDR Blogs as we move forward!

I agree with Maxninja - I'd like to hear about the development of DDR from the inside.  If the blogger wants to write about stuff I'm not interested in, OK, I won't get all upset about it, but I won't bother to read it either.

even just a simple translation in english of the DDR Staff blog would be great.

a good KOA CS staff blog could be cool as well..
