In a player's profile, what decides the player's "Best Song"? At first, I thought it might be the most played song, like a "Player's Best", but if that were the case, Gradiusic Cyber wouldn't even be close to being mine. It doesn't seem to be the best in terms of that player's skill, because I have several AAA's, and Gradiusic Cyber isn't one of them. However, the same song is listed as the "Best Song" for most, if not all, of the top players on the leaderboard.
Also, I previously AAA'ed Catch It!, but it doesn't seem to have updated in my profile, which is odd, because I AAA'ed it over a month ago, but other AAA's that I've achieved since then have updated. I even tried AAA'ing it again, and the score didn't update on my profile. Any reason why that is?
Now questions about the Scoreboards page. I've got more AA's and AAA's than MegaManX, but his skill rating is higher. Is a higher number of skill points awarded when it takes a player fewer attempts to AA or AAA a song? I've noticed several other inconsistencies like this.
- kisa aquarius (#11) has 73 AA's, CPT AJR (#13) has 73 AA's and an A, lynnku511 (#10) has 74 AA's, and | Black Waltz | (#12) has 76 AA's, yet all of them are tied with a skill rating of 2390. I figured with how many AA's they each had, they'd be ranked in the order I listed them.
- puppychow17 (#14) has 78 AA's, more than all four of the players I mentioned in my previous point. Yet, he's ranked lower than all four of them.
- JackTheWhack (#17) has 24 AAA's, more than the majority of the players in the top ten. However, he's in 17th place, beneath many players that have no AAA's at all.
- Speaking of JackTheWhack, Bips (#20) has the same grade count as him, with the exception of a C owned by JackTheWhack that Bips doesn't have. However, JackTheWhack has 20 more skill points than him. Is a C really worth that much?
Sorry to fire out such an onslaught of questions, but these have been bugging me for a while.
