I was talking with csdthegreat on aim....

---STUFF LOL----
(01:12:33 PM) csdthegreat: Would you post something for me on the DDR forums?
(01:12:34 PM) lhot10820: Ummm... Why?
01:12:40 PM) lhot10820: Oh hey, did you see that I have more posts than Agora Perry. lol
(01:12:44 PM) lhot10820: Did you get banned?
(01:13:32 PM) csdthegreat: Yeah... which is stupid because I didn't do anything to GET banned in any of the very few posts I've made
(01:13:42 PM) lhot10820: Ha ha ha.
(01:13:46 PM) lhot10820: Who banned you?
(01:16:53 PM) csdthegreat: I don't know... I was trying to log in yesterday, and it wouldn't let me, so I went to the forums and saw that others were having trouble, so I tried again later. THEN I didn't find my name in user search. I tried registering a couple accounts with different emails, but then I found out I was IP banned. I looked for one of my posts, and the name was "redstripemaniac"...

--MORE STUFF LOL--

Can we be enlightend as to why csdthegreat was banned?

Additionally, he has this to say.

FROM CSDTHEGREAT

My old account seems to have been banned... and the name has changed to "redstripemaniac". To the users that know me, do you think my account was hacked as an April Fools Day prank? If so, did you see a specific post the hacker made that led to the ban? Have I done something wrong without knowing it? I'm VERY confused, and I can't make any sense of this! Help?!
If I DID do something wrong, I will leave the forums immediately.
Just so everyone knows, I was very sick for three days, and I never touched the computer again until today.

Hello.

He was banned for admitting to being under 13 in the forums.  I contacted him via PM and then through email to inform him of this.  I apologize if there was some miscommunication and he did not get my messages.  There are laws and strict policies which prevent us from allowing users under 13 to use the forums.  Here is some more information taken from Konami's Privacy Policy page:

What is Konami's online privacy policy regarding children under 13?

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Konami may collect and store personal information about children under 13 ("children" or "child") if it submitted by way of our registration form and is submitted after we've obtained verifiable parental consent. To determine who is younger than 13 years old and whether parental consent is required, we ask all users who wish to register to submit their date of birth. Those users that indicate they are under 13 years of age are directed to our Parental Permission Form. If given verifiable permission from a parent, Konami may collect and store the following types of personal information about a child under 13: email address, parent's or guardian's full name, parent's or guardian's email address, parent's or guardian's telephone number. Konami may also collect demographic information about a child such as the child's date of birth, location, homepage, and other preferences; and, combine such information with the child's personal information. Konami will only collect this information if it is voluntarily submitted to us by the child and provided with the parent's permission. We do not gather personal information about a child through the use of passive collection mechanisms such as cookies. For more information on how we use cookies and other information collection tools, please click here.

The information that a child provides on his/her registration form may be used to: (a) make up the child's profile; (b) allow the child to use our message board, and participate in other activities on our site (e.g., contests, or game-specific events); and, (3) allow us to send the child, via email, news about products, features and enhancements, special offers, upgrade opportunities, and contents and events of interest.

Please note that we are prohibited from conditioning a child's participation in an activity - like message boards - on the child's disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity. In addition, parents have the ability to consent to the collection of the child's information without consenting to the disclosure of that information to third parties. To read about the steps Konami takes to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the children's personal information, please click here.

In some instances, a child may be allowed to submit information to us online even without their parents' prior permission. For example, Konami does not require verifiable parental consent if a child under 13 wishes to use the Product Support feature of our site. The information collected in these areas is used to fulfill a one-time request from the child (e.g., answer the child's technical support question) and is deleted once that request has been fulfilled.

Contact Information

Any personal information that a child discloses while visiting our website(s) is collected by Konami Digital Entertainment. Konami's contact information is as follows:

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
Attention: Website Administrator
2381 Rosecrans Ave. Suite #200
El Segundo, CA 90245
(888) 212-0573
webinfo@konami.com

Third Parties

Please read the section titled "With whom does Konami share my personal information" for our policy on the disclosure of personal information collected from children.

Parental Access

A parent who has already given Konami permission to collect, use, and/or disclose his or her child's personal information can, at any time, do the following: (1) view, correct, or have deleted the child's personal information; (2) discontinue further collection and use of the child's personal information and/or communication with the child; and/or, (3) prevent the disclosure of the child's personal information to third parties. To do so, please follow the procedures provided in the Access section of this Privacy Policy.

It's policy to remove his personal/account information (which includes his username) from our database.  It is a simpler and less error-prone procedure for us to alter his information and make it bogus than to physically delete it.
