If anyone has IIDX GOLD please post and share your thoughts on the game!

I just got my copy yesterday in the mail.  I ordered the complete limited edition and it is so fly!  I haven't played it a lot but I got all my settings the way I want and it looks beautiful on my new HDTV.  I got some component cables for my PS2 and it really makes a difference.  I got the lag calibrated well and was able to get some AAs (I've only AAA'd one song in my entire life - Waxing and Wanding on whatever the equivalent to light7 is called now), so I'm pleased with that.  The theme is gorgeous and I already have about 20 or 25 songs in my favorite 1 folder.

The beatnation summit DVD is incredible too so far.  I've only watched DJ Yoshitaka and Ryu*, but both were good (Ryu * is better though ).

I can't wait until I get off of work to go play some more! 

Anyway, share your thoughts on the newest CS version of IIDX! 

IIDX GOLD CS is pretty sexy. I really like the CS songs in this version, while I really didn't care too much for the ones in DD. Treasure X Star is probably my favorite collab, with The Story Begins being a close second. I got a couple of nice scores, including a AAA on Crossroad Hyper and a high AA on Welcome hyper.

I was actually hoping Treasure X Star would be better than it was. It was good but I was probably hoping for too much, haha.

Guilt & Love was better than I thought it would be.

I'd like to unlock the least 100 seconds and the VIP room stuff but I am not good enough to do that, haha.

Yeah, I had high hopes for Treasure X Star too.  I like it a lot, but the ending doesn't live up to the beginning.  I really love StripE and all his songs (is he really kors k...?) so I am glad to be able to play Fire Fire whenever I want.  I really hope Fighting for Freedom gets in IIDX at some point. Anyway...

I like the new Sudden+ green number.  It really helps me out.  358 all the way.

Yeah, StripE (and teranoid) are kors k. I think StripE might be a collab with Ryu* but I can't remember off the top of my head if that's true.

I LOVE four leaf so much. I wish the Another chart wasn't so ridiculous in parts; my scoregraph looks like a heart attack.

I've been playing a ton of this. So much so that I haven't been here in over a week. :x

Gold AC was my favorite AC version to date, so I of course I love the CS version. I liked the Naoki + Ryu song, but The Detonator wins. And I think they chose great 5K songs. So pretty much everything on the list is awesome.

You don't have to be too good to get the VIP room. I think you can clear any two light songs and then The Smile of You on hyper. With any grades, no hard, no random/mirror, no autoscratch/5K. Just clear it. If you also want Vanessa then you'll have to AA those songs, but that's not too bad. If you get into the VIP room you can play on light when you get there and you'll unlock new skins even if you fail. So definitely do it. 

Unlocking The Least 100 Seconds only requires playing a set of 3 songs that are 5K revivals. However, for your last one you'll have to clear a 7 in order to get the extra stage. The Beginning of Life -> Turning the Motor Over -> Denim is probably the easiest way to do it. If you've played enough expert courses then Shox might be easier.

The last unlock requires clearing everything on any difficulty. So if you've done a song on hyper then you don't have to go back and do it on normal. However, this game has a 9/11/12 and a couple 8s on normal. For those I'm not sure if you can do an easy clear. It's worth trying if you get stuck. But then again, if you just save your worst song for last, you'll probably get good enough at the game just clearing the other 95 songs that the 96th song won't be so bad when you finally get around to it 3 weeks later.

^Yeah, from my understanding you can use stuff like 5key, easy, and autoscratch for stuff to count as a "clear," not to mention you could also lower the game difficulty in the options to 1 to make it a lot easier.
