Hey there,

I just wanted to ask the people in connection with Konami if Konami is planning on releasing the default songlist before the game comes out. I know they used to do this with the PS2 DDR games, but there was none for SuperNOVA2's PS2 game. So, I was just wondering if there's going to be a songlist or more info released on DDR X (US PS2) before its release.

Thanks~

I usually find the song list somewhere online a few weeks before its release.

(especially with the Universe series)

I hope the same is true with DDR X. Wow, this game is coming out in about a month! Woohoo!

DDR X is going to be awesome.

I think the Planetary Songs are going to come out on it. Just a rumor I heard.

I hope so...

Even DanceMania licences back and the USB Linking Feature with DDR X AC.

We should wait... a couple weeks more.

Well, we're closing in on the "one month to release" timeframe. Hopefully something crops up soon.

Something to dispel my fears for this game. >_>

Mm...Yeah. I've been checking Konami.com every now and then to see when they put up X for sale. Usually they release a few new screenshots on the site when they do that.

I'm not sure how SN2 was handled, but I'm guessing they'll post the default songlist before the game is released.  If you think about it, the default songlist contains all the licenses from various big name artists, and those are usually the artists Konami wants to show people that they're in the game so they'll have more incentive to buy it. ("Justin Timberlake has a song in the game?  Well now I want to buy it!").  Conversely, those artists also want the publicity of their song(s), and that can only be done if the default list is revealed (ex - someone sees the default songlist, goes onto Youtube to listen to the various songs in the game, discovers a new song that they really like by an artist they haven't heard of, and they go off and buy that artist's CD.)

Yeah, I'm thinking Konami had a little problem with the Britney Spears/Justin Timberlake songs on SN2 US, which is why they didn't release a songlist for it beforehand. Those two songs were the only default songs that weren't on the Comic-Con demo.

yaay my 1st post! :)

I always thought that was pretty strange myself!

I had seen the comic con demo, and I didn;t even know that the JT and Spears songs were on the game until I happened to see a video of the default list on youtube a couple days after the release. I was like "whaaaat?!?"

But yes, I definatey think it would be great if konami went back to their old tradition of posting a default list a few weeks before the release.

personally I hope we actually get some KO's on our default list. thats one thing i didn't really like too much about extreme 2 and supernova 2 is that the default list was all licenses
