it's really dumb. i don't get why they keep having competitions that only a few can enter.

Konami got their hands on some tickets and decided to be nice and give them away.  It's not really a big contest so much as it is a generous offer.  Think of it more like "Hey, we got some tickets and if you live around the area you can have them."  It's not a competition, just a giveaway to people who live around the area of the show.
