So... I finally played DDR Hottest Party today! It was fun!! I liked a lot of the songs. Too bad there are only 50 though! "Sensible Samurai?" (I'm not sure of the title) was a beastly song! "Sociable Samurai?" "Stinky Samurai?" "Superfluous Samurai?" I don't know... "Love Shine" still rocks! I thought that I would LOVE it in English, but truth be told, I couldn't hear the words much. Oh well, perhaps if I play it more I will be able to understand WHAT she is saying!

So, a couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine came over so that our kids could play together. (She has 3, I have 3, it works really well.) While they were playing, we were just talking (ADULT CONVERSATION is always nice!). We got to talking about exercise. I mentioned DDR. Angela said that her hubby always laughs at the people who are playing DDR at the malls. (Oh no! He's one of THOSE people!) So, I suggested that she give it a whirl. We turned on my 360, and I got out 2 mats and we played! SHE LOVED IT! She started asking me about what versions are available on the Wii. (That is the only console they own.) I told her about "Hottest Party".

A week later, we had the play date over at her house. Our kids played and we were talking. The conversation came back around to DDR and she proudly mentioned that they had gotten Hottest Party! (Konami, I'm over here advertising for you left and right! I should be getting paid a comission!!) I wasn't wearing socks at the time, so we didn't play it. BUT, her and I have decided that every Thursday, we will get together and let the kids play while we get our exercise playing DDR!! We are going to switch between houses. Today, she's coming over and we are playing Universe. Next week, I'm going over and we are playing Hottest Party (I need to remember to wear socks! NOT flip-flops!). AWESOME!

So last Friday, I had the MOST AWESOME party ever! It was so much fun! I invited the teenage girls from my church and their moms and their Young Women leaders and we all ate lots of junk food, played DDR, Karaoke Revolution, Guitar Hero III and some random game on the Wii. I've decided that I really dislike the Wii..... It will NOT be at my party next year!!! (I do a party at least once a year...)

Last night was a Dancing Wednesday (Yeah, I should have come up with a clever name, but I'm not a very clever person... so that is the name... whatever...)! --sigh-- lots of issues with Xbox LIVE and DDR last night... Konami is looking into it though... I really hope it's not something on my end! I did check my connections, so I don't think that it is, but who knows? It would be just my luck to be at the root of the problem!

This last Tuesday night was our third Karaoke LIVE night! These have been going well and I plan on continuing them! Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Encore is so fun! I'm hoping that Konami keeps giving us songs to download! Currently, the songs that are available have all been in past incarnations of KR... I hope they give us NEW ones as well! I do like though how I can put in one disc and have 75 songs to choose from!!! (75 because I've downloaded 35 and there are 40 on the disc! Awesome!)

So, Last night on Xbox Live, there was an insane amount of people on! It was awesome! After playing for 2 hours last night, all I could think about was arrows! In fact, when I finally fell asleep, my dreams were littered with those horrible yellow ones... The red ones are easy, and the blue and green are okay, but the yellow ones always throw me off....

Next Tuesday is the first Karaoke LIVE night! I am so excited! Karaoke Revolution is the entire reason why I purchased my 360 in the first place... I've waited a long time for it to come out! When it finally did, I got so obsessed over getting the achievements before anyone else! I spent 13 hours singing in one day! It was insane! All I dreamed about was the lyrics... I took a little break from playing... (You can only dream about "Walking on Sunshine" so many times before you go nuts!)

So, we are going to have Karaoke Tuesdays and Dancing Wednesdays... my dreams are going to be filled with DDR arrows and blue Karaoke note tubes!
