Ah well.

I actually generally do better at the arcade than at home. Initially it was a bit hard to get used to, but once I got it down (only took a few songs) I've always done better there. It might have something to do with people around me, giving me some extra push to do as well as possible. Or it might just be that my home setup sucks xD

My Stepmania setup:



Yeah. Flimsy beat-up PS2 pad -> Cheap PS2 to USB adapter that screws up on more than one pad -> Stepmania -> S-Video cable -> Gigantic old (well, old for an HDTV) TV. The TV that's in a space big enough to actually play in also happens to be the most used TV in the house (and the only one connected to cable), so every time I'm done I have to close SM, unplug the mat, put it away, switch the display back and unplug the S-vid cable; which means every time I want to play again I have to plug in the cable, switch the display, take out and plug in the mat and open SM. ._.;;

I feel poor compared to the displays of awesomeness here. Then again, I consider myself a newb, so I hope to maybe clear out a space and get better equipment as I get the money and get better myself, or something.
