I wouldn't say this was a good experience but here it is. It took place at the arcade.

My experience at the arcade was...was a total failure. It's been 3 months since i've been playing DDR console version with my ignition pad, i can AA all trick/difficult songs, and pass most Heavy/expert songs. For the first time in my life i went to the arcade just to play the SN they had there. I thought i was going to totally kick some. I get on the machine, get Dragon blade on difficult, and for some reason i had a trouble. Reason for this was thsi was my first time playing with shoes, and the ones i was wearing were kinda heavy, and i wasn't able to move fast enough for some songs. So i definitely need to practice with shoes on, or get a pair that are lighter.

After all that, i felt really dissapointed i didn't perform as good as I do at home, and felt sad for the rest of the night

It really all depends on how much money you want to spend.

If you want to go basic, go for a flat plastic one that Konami sells.

*Highly Recommended*For better play, go to Redoctane.com and buy an Ignition 3.0 (Currently my pad, it's the best)

And If you have a lot of money to spend, try Cobaltflux.com and buy a metal dance pad.

But I highly recommend the Ignition 3.0 as this is an extremely good pad which is not priced very high.

DDR on the PS2 is doing fine, no need to move on to PS3.
