Great songs :)

For some reason when I pick my favorite song, True ~Trance Sunrise Mix, sometimes it crashes the machine. Multiple times at multiple arcades.  Maybe they shop at the same store?

Felt like I was in a very small elevator :)

I played it once at the arcade, and I couldn't keep up with the video :( Or... if I did keep up with the video, my motions didn't hit the sensors.  I'd play it again given the opportunity.  It's been about 4 years.

I went to a party and saw the PPP for some home console.  Did that ever come out in the states?

It usually doesn't come up Cool

Unless we go minigolfing or bowling, and I sneakishly suggest a place I know that has a machine.  Then, I say "OMG WAT A KOINKIDINK! I'm going to go over there for a few minutes.  You should check it out, too."

I have a similar story to AgoraPerry.  I get to the place, and the line for DDR is basically out the door, around the block, and taking up lanes 12-20.  I played one game, and after that I said: "Forget you, forget you, forget you, you're cool, and I'm outta here!"

Did you mention that exercise can help prevent disease and improve overall health?

No references? Tongue out

I don't really have any testimony.  I just play to have fun.  The music is catchy.

Bring it back!  They used to be everywhere!  Now they are nowhere! ...except places like the suburbs of Chicago.  Also, please put some sort of astroturf cushioning around the sensors so it doesn't hurt so much when I ram my hand into them Tongue out

I would see people playing DMX at the arcade more than DDR cause it's pretty hard not to pass a song, and the music it the same.

I've had those kinda parties, but it's hard to play more than one or two different games :P  Be it DDR, Guitar Hero, or something else.

I stomped the first time I went to the arcade.  Intuitively, it makes sense, and I thought that that was what one was supposed to do.  Then, after getting exhausted 20 seconds into my songs, I realized that maybe it doesn't work that way.

Personally, I think So Deep is cake compared to Max300 :D Everything is to the beat of the music.  So Deep is crazy fun!  Isn't it like less than half the speed of max, too?

It's pretty much inevitable.

I would rather fail the song.  So I miss a few steps and nicely tell the kiddies to back away, but one of them snuck up from behind. :(  Thankfully, the parent didn't get all up in my face and was very understanding.

I was reluctant to use speed mods when the came out, but now I play almost everything on 1.5x :P  I'll sometimes play 1x or 2x, but I <3 speed mods.  Makes my life easier.  I can't see how people do 3x and 5x @_@

Not that its a speed mod, but I like using Boost with reverse and dark.  It's raining arrows!

Do people have PS3s?  I thought they were a million dollars.  On top of that, people would have to plunk down more dough for a pad or pads and the game.   I would think more people have other systems.

I had a new insight... I like many rap songs when I hear them on the radio, but then I hear the uncensored version and it's like "What am I listening to?"  Not that I can't fill in the blanks, but ... I don't know.  Maybe it's just me.

The USB capabilities are pretty nice.  However, sometimes it's hard to tell whether or not I will pass a song based on the difficulty rating.

DDR songs I am more familiar with and I know I can pass 9's no problem :)

I'll play whatever is around.

Arcade machines should be LOUD and NOT STICKY

I tried to warn you about the differences between home and arcade :)  Sounds like the machine was a real piece of work tho' :(

I've played on machines missing screws, but if the pads don't light up, I use that as an indicator that they aren't working.  Moreso, I see arrows staying lit, which sucks all the same.  If I know someone maintains the machine, I will try the location again in a few months.  Otherwise, its on to another place.

You will get used to the arcade pads eventually, if they are functional
