Well I think it's good to keep in mind that most people don't play 9s & 10s frequently. I also think, that, unless Konami wants to put out a "Challenge Only" game, they should definately include all difficulties, since with every mix they're reaching new players. New players don't want to start on 6s.

Konami has demonstrated, through every release -ever-, that they want to make the game accessable (and challenging) to all levels of players; I'd be very interested to hear why anyone would honestly think that's a bad idea.

Last I checked, any cmod dq'd your score on any song, unless you've done something -really- weird to the metrics. Anyway, I don't think making it just the same as ITG is that great an idea either.

Um, immense lag? I'd imagine that since bemani has been dealing with widescreens for several versions in the iidx line that they've gotten it pretty well figured out. I don't know that anyone has given out real specs about what type of screen is being used, plasma, lcd, crt, etc. It seems a bit premature to be assuming such things would be overlooked.

Naw, it looks like the arrows are in the same spot as before, with a bunch of useless deadspace on the sides :/ And I don't mean the speakers on the header, I mean the ugly deadspace :P

That last picture there kinda shows how much screen space is being completely and totally wasted. It's almost like they took a fullscreen stepmania theme, centered everything, and put it on a widescreen without changing anything. What's the point of a big fancy flashy widescreen if you're not going to even pretend to use it?

Also, that headder is freakin HUGE. And with the tilted forward it really looks like it's looming over you. It's cool that they upgraded everything, but it doesn't look like much actual thought went into it :/ I mean, they couldn't even use all the 'widescreen' space in the header!

I think Sony's disallowing backwards compatibility on new ps3s kinda forces the decision that way. If not for the next mix, then almost definately for the one after.

Well, on the bright side, at least real depression can actually be treated. Night terrors are pretty awful though, I got them a lot when I was a kid. My GF used to get nightmares (which are pretty bland in comparison) every night but found out a small snack before bed (half sandwich type) can even out your body chemistry and reduce the chances of nightmares. Placebo or not, it's worked really well! It might be something worth trying ^^

Aaaaaaaaaaaand... well.... Andamiro made one of the 7 cabs I have... it happens to be the one that (people who don't know what they were talking about) were talking about.... annnnnnnnnnnd they also make pump. They put pump sensors in ITG2 dedicabs. Pump sensors are more responsive, are higher quality, last longer, and don't have to be "broken in". That's why I put pump sensors in. But what do I know right? Obviously nothing compared to a guy working at ruckers who's never had to actually replace a sensor. ^^

Cmods are fine to include but you should follow the itg path with that and disqualify for scoring.

I play on "robot" which makes everything grey. I use it to stop being distracted by the colours that I can't tell apart due to colourblindness. I also have fun with "quick" and "stream" combined, and "add mine, blender, stomp" is fun too. It's a nice change to add "quick, stream" to a 7 to play randomly generated 11s.

You can totally pass songs with low combos, as a miss generally mostly affects your grade, not your life bar. You go from S to C with one miss, but your life bar only goes down a very little bit. I also love how when you search youtube for dance maniax you get 1 guy playing madblast and then everyone else is freestyling in one form or another. Way, way more freestyle (actual dancing?) on DMX than any other game I can think of.
