I play on metal pads.  Unfortunately for me, the down arrow on my Afterburner broke.  I should have invested in a CF or something.  Too bad MMB doesn't ship Nexens anymore.

Good reason?  There can't possibly be a reason to make us vote, have a clear winner chosen, then pick the other choice.  Unless, of course, Konami is still scared of people hacking in ITG, which means they still haven't improved their own franchise enough to a point where people want to play DDR over ITG.

Well, it seems rather obvious that you would have to use a hybrid of both audio and visual cues.  However, I focus mostly on the music, rather than the arrows.  The problem is, some songs aren't synced too well and hence, screws over your scores.  It makes it more fun to play though.

I think this is a waste of time.  The Eyetoy was gimmicky, badly inaccurate, and very unfun.  I think it'd be better if Konami just focused on making the Universe series better, rather than adding in gimmicks that less than 1% of the population will ever use, only to never use it again.  Fixing the loading times and making good stepcharts > lame camera thing

Now that I think about it, I do recall reading about e-amuse support for SN2 being shut down sometime soon in favor of X.

Every "Hero" game will let you use the guitar.  DJ Hero sounds like it'll have a better soundtrack than Scratch though.  I think I'll download that one instead.

Konami itself doesn't actually monitor the boards...

There should be a lot more crossovers from the Universe series, it's quite awesome.

Revamp the song selection screen.  The song wheel is getting old.

More speed mods please.

What pie said about the customizable interface, IIDX style :o

Hands.  Yes, kill me ITG-haters, but DDR needs something new :P

Hahahaha.  IIDX is too hard for Americans as evidenced by every single American review of IIDX saying it sucks because it's "too hard".  "lol steep lerning curv maeks us reviewrs sad D:"

ToyoWolf: FYI, most ITG players think ITG3 sucks.  ITG Rebirth isn't half bad though.

I don't know why everyone gets so protective of either game.  They're dancing games.  I'll play whatever is around.  ITG or DDR, 4 panel or 5 panel; whatever's there will get my attention and be played.  They're all fun.  I mean, there has to be a song I like in a song list, right?  :x

It depends on what difficulty you're playing on really.  If you're playing on constant 9's and 10's, you're probably going to burn a rather large amount of calories.  For me, I burn about 550~ calories after about 45 minutes of somewhat constant play of mostly 9's and a few 10's (and random 11's and 12's when I feel like it).  700 doesn't seem too large an amount if you're playing some high level stuff.

Oh... whoops.  -_-  I haven't played DDRX for a while now, but I remembered everyone talking about how it didn't have edit support or something :|

The PS2 version of DDRX doesn't have an edit mode.

I don't think that it's the fact people will figure out how to hack in more songs, but that people will make edits with hands or try to hack in ITG onto the machine.  Either way, I'll be really disappointed if you can't use a USB, especially since asian upgrade cabs already have USB support.

Apparently the US is more dangerous because of our extensive usage of that evil "Stepmania" program.

Well yeah, DDR probably will never support custom songs.  Custom songs are the reason why ITG still has a strong fan-following, and not a great deal else, save the grading system.
