I only have a PS2 and so will only get X and will definitely get it first day it's here.  But I'm more hyped if that's possible for HP2.  More songs I know.

1.)  A Fifth of Beethoven - Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band
4.) Conga - Miami Sound Machine
6.) Watch Us Work It - Devo
25.) Concertino In Blue - Hirofumi Sasaki

If I had an XBox 360 I'd be dying to play the songs above.  My wife would certainly love #4 as it's one of her all time favourite songs.  And 1 and 25 make be think they're going to be primarily classical and I almost always love those.  I think the only one I don't like at all is End of the Century and one that I'm impartial is DJ Taka's song on Supernova I think No 13?  It was changed too much to rambunctious techno or something.

Anyways, this list makes me think of possibly getting a 360.  Keep the info coming!

3 for me.  I can live with more if Challenge is used more and I get a playable 6-7 that transforms into a 10 at the highest difficulties.  As I'm 33 and not likely to get better than 8's because of a lack of ability to gallop and crossover properly (though I taught my wife with 2 sentences and now she crosses over easy as Pi...)

The steps weren't that bad.  In fact a number of songs in this mix were new to PS2.  Especially La Cucaraca (I wanted that for ever!).  It's true that many songs ended in the 7 and 8 range and that's my skill level.  Many songs were for a younger audience, much less hardcore.  Though I admit I'm hardcore about DDR I can't use my feet to clear 9's and up.  Yet anyway but not likely ever.

The songs supposedly unlocked by a FMC on Beginner Basic and Difficult are Exotic Ethnic, Sakura and one other one that I don't remember.  Has anyone proven this or are these songs unplayable altogether or will there be an event like what was used to unlock Memories in Extreme?

My wife's fave mix is definitely Extreme.  We've never had an issue with the buttons in the corners because we don't stand in a minimalist stance.  She loves V to no end.

My fave mix is definitely Extreme2 though I admit that I have favourites on every single mix, even Disney Mix and Disney Channel Edition.

I like having classical songs and popular songs and songs with generally a great beat.  I'm not so much for R&B and trance though I love some of those too.

I personally am a 6, 7, 8 player.  I don't expect to ever do a 9 or higher with my feet.  Maybe 9 if I could learn to gallop.  For me, seeing many 6-8 or 9 songs but having 5 songs almost exclusively in the 10+ category is a waste of 5 songs.  If they're enjoyable songs though I'd be willing to edit them to a more reasonable state.

I need the arrow type that is coloured Red, Blue, and Yellow or the Solo Mod if unavailable or the game is barely playable for me.  I really prefer to play 1x speed and my eyes simply don't go fast enough for 400 or 600 BPM so a high C would be worthless for me.  A C200 would be doable for me though.

In fact, my biggest gripe about Disney Channel Edition was that it did not have my favourite arrow type.  Without it I simply couldn't play it much at all.  Definitely not enough to unlock the 3 last songs.

Definitely get the PS2.  I've got all the NA DDR games for PS1 and PS2 and I've enjoyed all of them at least partially.  I no longer really play either Disney Mix nor Konamix nor the original DDR USA.  Once in a while I'll play Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious -- that's one of a few old songs that need to be put up into DDR X.

I know I'm likely the ONLY person on this planet who wants that song on a playable mix.

Personally I have yet to beat a single 9 footer and I've been playing for over 5 years (I'm 33 and overweight too)  I personally like being able to play all songs, and don't mind at all if the Oni difficulty were used more or an extra difficulty like Ultra or Another were added to cater exclusively to the crazy people. It wouldn't be hard to do.

I say crazy people as in the experts, not in a derogatory way.

I personally love having Marvellous in there.  In fact, I appreciated being able to get extremely good scores in ITG for example because of the Fantastics there being weighted so much more than Excellents.  I have every DDR game for the PS so don't go crazy on me here.

I'd prefer the weight to be as in ITG personally with additional grades above AAA or just simply capping at AAA.

I admit -- I never have received higher than a single star, nor have I ever obtained a AAA.

I would strongly vouch for this song:

shakira - ojos asi

The first 1:30 and stop right there.  Perfect DDR cut.

I have been playing for the last 5 years, am 33 years old and don't expect to ever get a AAA.  I don't want a game that requires a AAA or worse full marvelous combo to unlock songs.

I want more classical music like V and Speedover Beethoven.  I would love a bonus disc unlock system that would slowly unlock songs from other mixes you already have and love.  I also love songs like Rhythm and Police, Dance Dance, Xepher, Baby's Tears, Dragon Blade, and Calico Cat Rock.  More songs like those.  Oh, I love Akira Yamaoka's (sorry for any misspelling) songs.  Your Rain is also one of my favourites.

One song that I really think would work well at about 1:40 starts from the beginning of one of Shakira's songs.  It plays like a Paso Doble if you know what I mean.  I just can't think of the title at the present.  It has the word Ojos (Eyes) in it....  It would be terrific in DDR I think.

I'd prefer a speed unlocking Master Mode but it not being mandatory in the least.  I got DDR SN2 for my sister and husband and that's their first mix but it's been tough to unlock stuff for them because of the difficulty of that mode.  Yes they play Freeplay most of the time but it's taken more time to unlock stuff as a result.

Definitely Extreme 2.  The videos for every song made it enjoyable but I especially love the song list, though understand I love songs from every north american mix.  My wife and I both enjoy playing almost every song on that mix whereas the next most favoured mix for my wife is Extreme and the next one for me is Supernova.

We don't care for the inclusion of too many 10 foot songs because neither of us can do them and we're not getting any younger but know that many teens love them for the challenge.  I'd personally prefer more songs like Your Rain, Dragon Blade, B4U B4 ZA BEAT, and Speed Over Beethoven.

And definitely more classic dance songs from the 90's like Rhythm is a Dancer and from the 80's like 99 Red Balloons.  And classical songs too.  V is fantastic.

Here's to hoping then that Awesome isn't only acquired with a full Marvelous combo but instead is achieved with enough Marvelouses hit.  I've noticed some songs my getting 11.5 million and other ones 8 and 9 so perhaps it's just a high enough score which would undoubtedly require a large percentage of them being Marvelous.

Really, the only thing that bugs me about Disney Channel Edition is the note skins misrepresented as colours in the options.  I would prefer having Note.

I find that hard to believe though it's always possible.  Most often there's a fail safe mechanism for things to unlock in DDR games of the past.  For example, you can unlock Drop the Bomb (that other mix) in Max the long way (500+ songs, and I tell you it felt much longer) or pass Hardcore Oni course.

My favourite songs are (for all PS2 versions): Rhythm and Police, Kakumei, B4U B4 ZA BEAT, Speed Over Beethoven, Love is Dreaminess though Xepher's very close, and Dragon Blade.

Forgetting Disney Channel Edition!  That one it's probably Doll right now though I suspect Exotic Ethnic will win once I've unlocked it.

My favourite song on Supernova 2 is definitely Dragon Blade.  The two machines that are near me are over 1 hour away so I can't go there often at all.

I've been following Grimoire for the past 2 years but have totally given up ever having it actually released.  Please note there is definite controversy regarding its developper.  It is supposed to play like Wizardry 7 for the PC.
