Arcade : Extreme, Extreme, Extreme. (Can't say SN2 cause it'll probably never come out here).

Home: Extreme (JP), with SN2 JP not far behind.

Yeap.

After playing DDR for two years (only Ex) I went on holiday to a place that had a brand new SN and a ITG2 dedicab a year or so ago.

I fell in love instantly with ITG, it was just so much more fun. I wasn't compalining about the songs, some where fun, some where rubbish. Interface was a lot better also, which made reading the arrows easier. The R21 patch also added to the appeal. But the sensors where the best bit, so sentisive. I did'nt think much of SN then, and still don't really like it much now, Ex is still more fun.

To there own I guess. I just like ITG2 more.

Greats do NOT make an AAA, that really got me annoyed.

The backgrounds that don't have music videos are distracting, playing FELM @ 400bpm 1.5x with a bright red background when all the arrows are red is... well not good.

I'm not a fan on Marvs on normal play, since now exists a rank above an AAA.

Still stretching out the horizon of what a 10 footer is.

That announcers what, almost 10 years old now, even tho he's still great, it's not hard to get some voice recording's isn't it?

LACK OF GOD DAM DANCEMANIA.

Overall (basis on the Jap vers), way way better than SN1.

Buy a copy of DDR 2nd Mix - Extreme (Note: JP versions, they have to be the Japanese versions).

If you don't have that good luck, cause they're hard to find now.

Provided that the song you want to edit is on DDR Extreme (eg So Deep on DDRMAX).
If you're making this on a PS2 (Which also has to be able to run Japanese games) -

Make the edit on the PS2.
Save on the PS2 memory card.
Put a PS1 memory card in the other slot.
In the Systems memory card browser
(If you turn the console on without a disc in the drive) transfer the edit data from the PS2 to the PS1 card. (PS2 Memory cards do not work in the card slots of a Arcade machine).

If you're making them on a PS1 it's just a simple task of saving it to your PS1 memory card.

Find a DDR Extreme ARC cab with memory card slots and away you go.

As for as I know the Arcade version of SN2 for europe/EU countries (DS SN2) got canceled due to technicalities with importing parts of the system to EU.

Something to do with the modified PS2's that the DS system uses.

Permission to make a Second BMS crew, or just wait and see if they raise the limit?

You can't really call 33 songs a 'new mix', its more of an upgrade with a new interface.

At least you guys have got SN2 period, as for us that get the Dancing Stage versions...

Suggestion/fix list.

- Typing in forum messages is weird for a start. Javascript isn't it?

- The site doesn't have cookies or anything, I have to re-log in everytime I visit.

- The info on the right top (random vid) of the video page doesn't change, tho the video on the left does.

- Score tracker for Arcade (and maybe home) versions.

- The crew limit is 10 + founder. Why?

- Konami doesn't know what Australia is.

I'm done.

6th Mix-Extreme.

SN lacks dancemania and good licences.

I didn't bother with the US version and Imported the JP version the other day.

Great mix imho. Lots of great Konami originals and exclusives after SN1's rather bland mix.
