The DanceDanceRevolution® Community Website is proud to present the official song list for DanceDanceRevolution® X!  Below we have listed both the song title and a short description of each song for your viewing pleasure (some including exclusive quotes).  We have also broken the song list down between licensed songs and Konami Originals.  This is not the full song list, however, we will be releasing more information on the full song list for DanceDanceRevolution® X in the coming days, so keep checking back for more updates!

Licensed Songs

1.) Wine Red (Tommie Sunshine's Brooklyn Fire Retouch) - "Tommie Sunshine transforms this indy-pop masterpiece from The Hush Sound into a dance floor anthem. The stompy beat, driving rhythm, and subtle, gritty textures combine to create a unique blend that is rarely heard in electronic music."

2.) Here We Go - "Without a doubt one of the most influential, genre defying groups out today, Ozomatli channels the Reggaeton vibe with" "Here We Go". "It's stripped down, hard-hitting beat and catchy melody will definitely get your hips shakin'!" Ozomatli's live performance has been hailed around the world as a ""do not miss"" event. As a special, exclusive treat, the DDR X video for this song is a collection of footage from their 2007 concert at Los Angeles's legendary House Of Blues!"

3.) Boy (DJ Irene Rockstar Mix) - "DJ Irene Rockstar transforms this 1985 club hit into a modern day dance floor monster. Originally a new-wave tale of frustration, this remix keeps the song's intent intact while kicking up the intensity with driving leads and a heavy club beat. This remix originally appeared on Rhino music's ""Future Retro"" compilation, which showcases a plethora of 80's anthems remixed by today's hottest dance-music producers."

4.) Put 'Em Up - "Put 'Em Up" is a feel-good tune that embodies the spirit of House music - a love of rhythm intertwined with the freedom to be happy. Let your stress fall away and loose yourself in this song's joyous vibe.

5.) Here It Goes Again - OK Go is a 4-piece indy-pop band from the Chicago area. Creating a sensation with their self-produced, choreographed video's, they prove that you don't need a massive budget to make high-powered art. You only need a wild imagination and a D.I.Y. attitude. "Here It Goes Again" is taken from their 2005 album Oh No.

6.) Happy - "Happy" was released on the 2005 album Odyssey by New York's Fischerspooner. Dipping it's fingers into Electro, Indy, Pop and Dance, "Happy" is an outstanding example of today's genre-less music soundscape.

7.) U Can't Touch This - The 1990 block buster, "U Can't Touch This" finally makes it's way to the DDR dancefloor. MC Hammer's catchy phrases, layered over grooves sampled from Rick James' seminal "Super Freak", became a Hip-Hop phenomenon breaking down the doors of mainstream music. It won two Grammy awards - Best R&B Song and Best Solo Rap Performance.

8.) Sound of Freedom - Bob Sinclair, with a self-described purpose of bringing unity and enjoyment to all, gives us "Sound Of Freedom" - a "Dancehall meets House Music" floor stomper that simply rocks. Featuring Cutie B., Gary Pine and Dollarman, this song has hit dance charts and, more importantly, dancefloors around the world.

9.) Big Girls Don't Cry - Purefocus re-creates Fergie's anthem, giving it a dose of dance to make it even more appealing on the dancefloor. Edgy guitars and gritty synths mix with silky smooth vocals and a flowing break-beat, giving this song an emotional roller coaster ride.

10.) Butterfly (2008 X-edit) - The mega-hit "Butterfly" was released on the original DanceDanceRevolution in Japan. Now, ushering in a new decade of DDR sounds, "Butterfly" has been reworked exclusively for DanceDanceRevolution X! Enjoy it's familiar, "impossible to resist", melody, while exploring the fresh new arrangement.

11.) DUB-I-DUB (2008 X-edit) - Making a sensation both on and off the DDR dance-floor, "Dub-I-Dub" has been reworked exclusively for DanceDanceRevolution X! "Dub-I-Dub" was first released in 1995, and was featured in the early DDR machines throughout Japan.

12.) 30 Lives (Up-Up-Down-Dance Mix) - Winner of the 2008 "Dance Dance Revolution Song Contest", "30 Lives (Up-Up-Down-Dance Mix)" has taken the legendary Konami code and turned it into an undeniably sweet ode to teenage love. A unique approach? We think so!

13.) Till the Lonely's Gone - "Till the lonely's gone" is one of the winners of the 2008 "Dance Dance Revolution Song Contest". Beautiful lyrics wrapped around a fantastic backing track create this wonderful Pop hit. It's an uplifting song of love and trust - just what you need to chase away the blues!

Konami Originals

14.) Ticket to Bombay - "A journey of a lifetime awaits you. Take the fast train to Bombay and watch the country side whiz past as the smell of chai and curry fill the train. As you arrive, the markets are filled with sights and delights beyond imagination. Music fills the air as silk fabrics and spices of every color align the city streets." - Jena Rose

15.) Flight of the Phoenix - "Soaring high in the sky, the Phoenix spreads it's wings in celebration of rebirth. From the ashes rises the mighty Phoenix that reminds us that there is always life in death and light in the darkness. Dance with the Phoenix and spread your wings...." - Jena Rose

16.) Tah He Spitz - "From the beginning I knew this song was going to go smoothly and it did. Everything came into place once I had the idea to get Asa to do the drums and Taj He Spits to voice the lyrics. The day after Taj dropped his vocals Binghi Ghost was coming into the studio and I played it for him and boom, within minutes he had a verse and the intro part. It's always fun when a track comes together like that!" - DKC Crew

17.) Slip Out - "Needing some leafy greens and good news, Harmony Machine dives into a pool of purple jello preserved with ectoplasmic sulfites, paddles to a safe haven of coconut trees and hippity-hop, and writes this song of celebration." - Harmony Machine

18.) Party Lights - "I feel like it is important that everyone knows that dancing is about freedom and we all need freedom from our everyday lives. This game is all about dancing so I figured my song had to also be about it as well."  - Tommie Sunshine

19.) Dance Celebration - "'Dance Celebration' is just that... with a little dirt thrown in for good measure! I think this song is the perfect blend of dirty house and electro all rolled in to one anthem! I worked on this song w/ Nosmo and Kris B, 2 Chicago area producers... (hence the dirty house elements)... then brought in Kevens, a reggae artist from Miami... the end result was one dance floor monster, don't ya think?" - Bill Hamel

20.) Inspiration - "The song 'Inspiration' came in stages for me. Originally composed as an entirely different song, I had to re-write the lyrics to match the build about half way through composition. The song changed completely but still kept the same base idea and the word 'Inspiration'. Once I got a structure and vocals I felt good about I added tons of harmonies to the voice and had fun arranging the music." - DKC Crew

21.) Flourish - An uplifting song of friendship and empowerment. These feelings are reflected in it's strong beat and beautiful synth sounds. Dance to this song and remember that you can go anywhere you want.

22.) Tracers (4Beat Remix) - A solid trance track from the Canadian duo Ruffage & Size. The progressive beat holds the energy throughout the track, while the vocals provide just the right spice. With these repeating rhythms, you can set your mind free and let your legs do the dancing.

"When putting together Tracers (4beat Remix), Size came up with the original music and melodies and created the main synth sound on his Novation Supernova synthesizer. Ruffage then took those ideas and shaped them into a Ibiza-inspired trance anthem. Dutch vocalist Chwhynny recorded a simple but perfectly matched vocal to finish off the track with style." - Ruffage & Size

23.) On the Break - Old-school Hard-Core, who doesn't love it?!?! This high energy track is nonstop from front to back and will take you on a wild ride before it let's you off. Can you keep up?

"This is fun music, bouncy is what I wanted in this track. It has bags of energy. This track is like what I produce as an artist within the UK hardcore scene." - Darwin

24.) SABER WING -  This is TAG's debut release on DDR. Its unique and catchy rhythm stays on everyone's mind once they hear it. It's peculiar sound is formed by interweaving 3-beat and 5-beat patterns, and creates an illusion of floating in the air for the listener. You won’t find such a feeling in other songs! Can you follow its roller coaster BPM and tricky rhythm?

25.) Dance Floor - Time to throw on your flashiest clothes and danciest shoes! This song knows one thing only, that dancing is one of the greatest enjoyments you can have. So let yourself go, feel the groove, and get out on the "Dance Floor"!

26.) stealh - Daisuke Asakura's fans must be thrilled with this newly-composed song, and DDR is the only way to play it! You cannot miss this super-unique synth sound that changes rapidly throughout the track. This song revolves intensely and dramatically, and it's no exaggeration to say that it truly is a creation of an artisan.

27.) switch - The dream collaboration between these two artists came true! Synchronizing the techniques of these two great artists has generated this top-quality track. You can't miss its wonderfully catchy melody and strong vocals. Listen to it, Dance to it, and Enjoy it!

28.) puzzle - This emotional trance track holds a sense of melancholy, and its wistful melody touches your soul. Captivating, it's powerful melody encourages you to sing along while you are enjoying the dance.

29.) S-A-G-A -  The strong, heavy kick-drum of this track is very prominent, and it's overpowering rhythm leaves you wanting more. Don't assume it's going to be repeats of the same phrases over and over... the tempo shifts and rhythmic changes will surprise you! There is no doubt that this song wants to throw you off track.

30.) TimeHollow - This epic song has made the jump to DDR! Both quiet and stormy, it has been painted with pounding guitar riffs, heavy drums and powerful, yet evocative, vocals. Loose yourself in it's mystery!

31.) Poseidon - This rare number from the NAOKI underground is an unusually high-energy Hyper-Euro Trance hit. The uplifting synth plays at full throttle from the get-go, giving you a nonstop hand raising experience. Nobody can stop it's progressive sequence as the hyper energy takes you away!

32.) Trust -DanceDanceRevolution mix- A dream meeting between this famous Japanese anime and DDR has come true! This well-composed arrangement brings out the allure of the characters to the fullest extent. If you like this song, we recommend watching the anime!

33.) Xmixes (continuous DJ mixes) - New for DanceDanceRevolution X - we're bringing you some crazy mixes from some hot DJ's. They have put together a collection of continuous mixes, each with it's own character and flow, but always packed full of excitement and energy! From the laid-back grooves of "Xmix2 (Beats 'n Bangs)" to the *we think* uber-challenge of "Xmix5 (Overcrush)", you're sure to find a favorite.

The DanceDanceRevolution® Community Website is proud to present the official song list for DanceDanceRevolution® Hottest Party 2!  Below we have listed both the song title and a short description of each song for your viewing pleasure. This is not the full song list, however, we will be releasing more information on the full song list for DanceDanceRevolution® Hottest Party 2 in the coming days, so keep checking back for more updates!

DanceDanceRevolution® Hottest Party 2 Partial Song List

1.)  All Good Things (Come To An End) - When we decided to re-create Nellie Furtado's epic song, we wanted to keep it's emotional quality intact, while giving it a dance floor pulse. Really, the choice of cover artists was a no-brainer! Having already delivered a chart topping remix of Furtado's "Do It" for the artist herself, we knew that internationally acclaimed Bill Hamel could give us the song we were looking for. As always, Bill delivers and then some. This song captures you with it's vocal performance, and keeps you going with it's cascading rhythms. Lose yourself in this song!

2.) Come Rain Come Shine - Jenn Cuneta delivers a chart topping House music masterpiece, and we bring it to the DDR dance floor! Drawing heavily on music originally from Paul McCartney, it's infectious groove overflows with positivity. When you are in need of a musical pick-me-up, this is the tune to reach for. As an added bonus, enjoy it's original music video while you dance!

3.) Feel Together - Originally by Ben MacKlin Feat. Tiger Lily, it reached #5 on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart. Mickey Disco has given it a groovy filtered-house beat, along with new uplifting vocals, to make it a perfect match for the DDR dance floor.

4.) My Destiny - This song, by House music diva Kim English, reached #1 on the dance music charts. The DanceDanceRevolution version gives it a fresh, upbeat, and  stompy groove. This, along with a wicked bass-line, will have your dance floor rockin'!

5.) Umbrella - Rihanna's world-wide smash hit is recreated as a tech-house pumper. An up-tempo beat, hook-laden synth stabs, and smooth vocals all combine to take this masterpiece to the next level!

6.) Makes Me Wonder - When we heard the funk-laden groove of Maroon 5's global smash-hit, we knew we had to bring it to the DDR dance floor. We've given it a dose of electronica and picked up the beat to make it DDR ready.

7.) Everybody Dance - HOTTEST PARTY2 is all about having fun and feeling good. We really wanted to capture this feeling when we recreated Chic's seminal Disco song. Now, nobody can channel 70's funk into modern dance floor goodness like the legendary Tommie Sunshine, so we knew that we had to have him for this song. You can tell that Tommie, along with long-time collaborator Mark Verbos, really had fun re-creating this song!

8.)  Red Alert - Basement Jaxx are one of the most influential groups to ever hit the House music scene. Not satisfied with repeatedly putting out the same house beat, every song is given an unique identity and atmosphere. Also included in HOTTEST PARTY2 is the accompanying music video. This acclaimed video exposes the danger of a world that does not promote a free arena for musical expression.

9.) Tribulations - LCD Soundsystem is on the forefront of popular music, seamlessly intertwining musical genres. From Pop to Dance to Indy, this music cannot be contained by meaningless and overused labels. Uniquely original, "Tribulations" delivers a constant groove that is impossible to resist!

10.) Black Or White - Prince Royal brings us this uber danceable re-creation of Michael Jackson's block-buster hit! Funky grooves, energetic breaks, and smooth vocals combine for a nonstop ride.

11.) Can't Help Falling In Love With You - With versions released by countless artists over the years, from Elvis Presly to UB40, this song has often been seen at the top of the charts. Our version gives it a contemporary dance beat, while keeping a laid-back island groove (a la UB40).

12.) Tootsee Roll - "Tootsie Roll" took the world by storm in 1994 and is one of the era's most defining party anthems.. Every car rolling was pumping this track! We are all about keeping the party going while giving it a fesh gloss of club vibe. The Block Brothers team up with Hollywood J and Bill Hamel to give it an extra "edge"!

13.) Walking On Sunshine - This song, originally released by Katrina And The Waves in 1985, became a cultural phenomenon. It's influence on pop culture can be seen (and heard) everywhere - from TV programs such as Futurama, to movies such as High Fidelity and Look Who's Talking. This exciting DDR version turns the "sunshine" up to 11 to really get your floor movin!

14.) We Got The Beat - What happens when you take one of the 80's most recognizeable anthems and give it a shot of electronica? You get a dance sensation that will have you swingin' 'til the morning light! HOTTEST PARTY2 has got the beat!

15.) I Want Candy - Originally from The Strangeloves, Bow Wow Wow turned this song into a New-Wave classic in the 80's. We thought it would be irresistible for the DDR dance floor, so we sent it to Pop n' Fresh for an up-to-date make-over. This new version, with a funky electro edge, is absolutely pumpin'!

16.) Bust A Move - When you think of 80's Hip-Hop, "Bust A Move" instantly comes to mind. It's wicked bass-line, laid down by none other than Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers sets the groove, while Young MC's slickety-slick rap style effortlessly rolls across the beat. Enjoy it's original music video while you get down to the funky flavor!

17.) Don't You (Forget About Me) - We took this #1 hit from Simple Minds, gave it a strong dance beat and up'd the tempo to create a modern dance sensation. Strong synth stabs and a powerful kick are the foundation, while sweeping pads and rich vocals give this track an emotional edge.

18.) I Ran - Spacebar, Naughty G. And Bill Hamel team up to recreate one of the most memorable New Wave tracks to ever hit the world's dance floors. Now with a slammin' tech-house beat and edgy synths, this new version definitely surpasses all expectations!

19.) Obsession - "Brooklyn Fire takes this Synth-Pop ultra-classic and turns it into a Dance-Pop mega-hit! Keeping the original's smooth, sultry groove, this new creation cranks up the power to get your walls shakin'!"

20.) You're The One That I Want - Electro-50's Funk? Techno-Retro Pop? Who knows and who cares!?!?! This song has got some serious swing mixed in with sugary goodness. Sure to be a DDR favorite!

21.) Scramble - One of the most influential groups in the electronic scene, System 7 has pioneered the Techno/PsyTrance/Progressive soundscape. "Scramble" is taken from the newly released Phoenix album. A unique treat for HOTTEST PARTY2, "Scramble"'s underground, floor-pumpin', vibe balance out an already impressive songlist.

22.) 5 O'Clock - Originally by The Perceptionists, and released on the Definitive Jux label, this song is built around a D.I.Y attitude propelled by a laid-back Hip-Hop groove. With a unique flow and an uplifting vibe, this special DDR re-creation is guaranteed to brighten anyone's day. When you finally get home, worn out from a day of school or work, pump this jam and re-energize - the world is yours!

23.) Call On Me - "Created in the depths of Adeline Studio's musical laboratory, Eric Prydz' dance floor anthem is re-created for a totally fresh feel. With new breaks and unique vocal textures, this DDR version seriously delivers."

24.) Night Runner - This new Electro-House version takes Duran Duran/Justin Timberlake's massive hit in a totally new direction. Not to mention FRAZ lays down some of the smoothest vocals to ever grace a DDR soundtrack. This version is a monster on the dance floor - sure to get any crowd movin'!

25.) D.A.N.C.E. - Hailing from France, Electro duo Justice has become an international sensation, rocking clubs around the world from Tokyo to Sao Paulo. Now, HOTTEST PARTY2 brings them to DDR for the first time! "D.A.N.C.E." is an Electro-House track, with a heavy retro feel. It is sure to get your feet movin'!
