Hi all,

I spoke with production and these are two possiblities that could be happening in this case of missing songs (but this only applies if you are with other participants while on Xbox Live):

In DDR Universe 2, the title checks all participants’ song list and filter out the songs that cannot be shared because the song must be playable on each Xbox360. For example, if somebody doesn’t have some hidden songs unlocked on his/her Xbox360, the songs will be removed from the list for the match.

The same thing happens to download songs. They will be available only when all participants have them.

There may be 2 possible reasons from the incomplete song list:

1.    It seems like some of the participants do not have some songs available on their Xbox360 so the songs, are removed from the list in the match.

    - Addition to above, if you have all the songs unlocked and all the DL songs, and the person you are playing against, is missing the DL songs, the DL songs will not appear on both your lists. Only when this person leaves, shall the person with the DL songs, see their DL songs again.

2.    Data transaction error occurred while checking the song list. The song list sent or received was cut in the middle and incomplete due to some network problems.

If it always happens with the same members, reason No.1 may be more likely.

If the situation does not take place always with the same members of the same status, reason No.2 may be more likely.

If you see varying lists, it can also be a combination of 1 and 2.

If you are the only person on Xbox Live, and you still have an incomplete song list, this can be an Xbox Live issue (for which, you will need to contact Xbox Live Support).

If the above answer does not pertain to your situation, please reply back with more details and I'll bring it up with production.

Hope this helps,

Dani

Hi Jujee, apparently this is an Xbox Live issue. As we do not control what happens on Live, you will need to follow the suggestion as posted to your question.

If anyone can confirm your song list problems with a screenshot, maybe that will help clear up the issue.

For Hottest Party, you can use the nunchuck Wii-motes when certain symbols appear in the left and right arrow colums. They look like orange diamonds. So instead of 'stepping' on those arrows when they appear, you wave the wii motes instead. You can turn these special "steps" on or off in the options menu.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Could you also please send an email to support@konami.com detailing what is exactly happening when you access Xbox Live?

The Media hub is reserved for news and information that has gone through an approval process on our side.

Also, scanning in magazines is a "no-no" as that treads on copyright infringement. If the article is found online, you can post a quick summary of the article (usually just the first paragraph) and link to it.

Just PM one of the moderators and we will work the details out on our end, to see if we can post the article on our website.

Stepmania isn't the issue here. Providing links that contain illegal mp3s is.

Correct. Links to any site that hosts music without permission from the original artists, are not allowed. This is in the Terms of Service.
