It would be great if SOLO mode came back. I dont really understand why QUAD and TRIPPLES mode are even in our DDR games. Who has that many home pads and that much space to play those modes at home? SOLO would be great for home versions because you would actually be able play it without buying extra pads (which Konami does not sell seprately) and having a huge amount of space.
So I vote YES for SOLO.

DDR SOLO didn't originally come with the bar but later they released a DX upgrade for the pad that added a bar and some lights.![]()
with DX upgrade:![]()

MdXMaxX 10-foot songs did not exist when this pad was made. It was made around the 3rdMIX era so the hardest songs you would encounter were like Afronova, and SkaAGoGo. If they do ever release the ASC here in America I agree that they should add a bar. I dont even really use the bar but it feels so weird to play DDR without a bar behind you.

WOW I just looked up some pictures and this thing is BEAUTIFUL!
Looks similar to a DDR SOLO pad (without the DX upgrade).
More Pictures!!!

I would love to have this as an option for home play. Like xOMEGAx said, most metal pads are horrible so it is pretty difficult for a serious player to have a good home experience that is close to the arcade.
What do you guys think about the controller? How much would you pay for one? What about it's looks?

I would easily pay $500 + for a DDR arcade style controller with SOLO arrows. It would be nice if Konami would give us more options for an official controller other than the one soft pad that come bundled with games.

AJmix you dont like LetThemMove? How can anyone not like LetThemMove?!? j/k I know that nearly everyone hates the song but I genuinely enjoy it. Its entertaining... or something like that.
Topic: Unlock 'Memories by Paula Terry' in DDR EXTREME
In Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME (USA) there is a hidden song that can only be unlocked by entering the following code in the main menu while the controller is in the P2 slot:
Right, Right, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up, Square, Left, Left, Down, Down, Down, Square, Square, Select
If this code is entered correctly you should have 'Memories by Paula Terry' unlocked for play!!
Remember the controller needs to be in the 2P slot! (thanks for the reminder BeForU!)

Hello. My name is Darryl and I am a college student @ SUNY Albany in Albany, NY. I started playing DDR in the summer of 1999 on a friends home version and didnt really like it too much. It wasnt until 2000 when I played on 3rdMIX Korean version2 that I really got into the game and I have been a big fan of the series ever since.
Topic: Your Favorite and Least Favorite DDR Songs!
There are a ton of songs across all of the DDR mixes so its hard to pick favorites. I really enjoy anything and everything by Paula Terry and dj nagureo. Asletics, Ebony Fay, NAOKI Underground, m-flo, and jun are some of my favorite artists who have songs on DDR. As a least favorite song I choose Sigrev2 by Richard Devine from ULTRAMIX 4. I can't stand this song at all
. It's a good there there ar som many other songs to choose from!
